Saraswati Veena Classes Saraswati Veena, an ancient stringed instrument, derives its name from the Hindu goddess Saraswati, often depicted holding or playing it. It possesses the unique capability to emulate the nuances of vocal singing.
Course Overview: Beginner Level (2 years): Foundation Swara exercises taught in a traditional and systematic manner. Introduction to simpler bhajans, traditional Geethams, and swarajathis.
Intermediate Level (2 years): Introduction to Varnams and application of complex gamakams, integral to Indian classical music. Instruction on simpler Krithis and Keerthanams.
Advanced Training (4 years): Delve into complex compositions by renowned composers of Carnatic music in various regional Indian languages. Preparation for small recitals.
Notes: Classes are conducted in the Carnatic style. Each level spans a specific duration to ensure comprehensive learning and skill development.
